Couples Ocho Rios is Jamaica’s original all-inclusive, couples-only resort. The 19-acre property is located approximately 65 miles from Donald Sangster International Airport. Transportation from the airport to the resort takes about 2 to 2.5 hours depending on your bus driver and road conditions.
Resort features and amenities include a freshwater pool, tropical mini jungle, private hot tubs, nightly entertainment, multiple restaurants, serveral bars including a piano/karaoke bar, fitness center, non-motorized watersports, tennis, volleyball, duty free gift shop, beauty salon, spa, internet booths and free wireless internet, and wedding services. Besides meals, snacks, drinks, and resort activities, the all-inclusive rate includes several tours and excursions such as the horseback riding tour at Prospect Plantation, Dunns River Falls tour, and shopping trips to the Taj Mahal, Island Village and other local shops.
Perhaps what separates Couples Ocho Rios from other resorts in the Couples family is Tower Island, a private island for au naturel sun bathing. It is possibly the resort’s best feature.
